The SDA competitive team is an added dimension to any dancer’s training and provides dancers with the enduring thrill of performance. Dancers gain confidence, learn time management skills, and make lifelong friendships. Each student is challenged by their choreographer to work for his/ her personal best.

The SDA competitive team participates in several competitions per dance season, across Ontario.

For students looking to become involved, an information package can be picked up at the office. Placement in competitive numbers is done by audition, which allows us to place dancers according to their age and ability. To qualify for the competitive team, a dancer must be taking Ballet, since it’s the technical foundation of dance. for information about auditions, please contact us.
