Somerville holds an annual recital each year in May, at the Richmond Hill Center for the Performing Arts.

Recital is an important component of a dancer’s training – allowing them the opportunity to perform on a real stage, with full hair, makeup, and custom-made costume. Dancer’s build confidence and are excited to take part in a large-scale production.

For our parents and families, recital is a memorable milestone where they view the progress their child has made over the year.

SDA is a proud supporter of Sick Kids hospital, and has been donating the proceeds from recital to the Sick Kids Foundation for more than 20 years.
