As a dedicated dance teacher for 37 years, she has shaped the talents of numerous aspiring dancers and teachers alike, instilling in them not only the technical prowess of ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theatre, but also the profound understanding that dance is a language of the soul. Theresa’s commitment to excellence extends far beyond the studio. Her expertise has taken her to stages around the globe, serving as a distinguished adjudicator both domestically and internationally. Her discerning eye and keen understanding of dance have earned her a well-deserved place on the IDO Canada Tap Team, where she has left an indelible mark as a choreographer and rehearsal coach.
As a Tap and Jazz and Urban examiner with the esteemed Performing Arts Educators of Canada (PAEC), Theresa’s influence on the dance community has been immeasurable. Currently serving as the President of PAEC, she continues to shape the standards of dance education and examination.
